We couldn’t help but see the “twinkle” in Martin’s eyes as he admired his sweetheart Jane. I never thought I would end up being happy about missing a ski trip, it the trip I could not accompany Jane on, ended up with Martin filling the space. We knew he was a friend from University years, but..... He was “so much more” at the end of the trip!! We were so privileged to have them join us a Big White in BC, Canada for a number of visits. What fun! We always wished that we had “more time to visit” and get to know him! Modest and understated he was. The angels will be rejoicing as we weep! We miss you, Martin!
